PMP4334: Equivalent Part for T1 oh the Schematic and BOM

Part Number: PMP4334

Hi,

I've come to a point in which I would need an equivalent part to the T1 on the BOM from the PMP4334. The part in question is a flyback transformer (PN: PG1266NL). The information online about this part are almost null. I have a datasheet provided from TI but it's mainly about mechanical characteristics and almost no electrical specifications. This makes my search for modern parts quite difficult once I cannot really compare the PG1266NL to any other part.

Do you happen to know about any part that could also feet in the scenario we have on this situation?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Best regards,

  • Jose

This transformer was designed by Pulse Electronics.  If you would like more information about the construction of this transformer beyond the datasheet, you will need to reach out to Pulse Electronics directly.

Typically for isolated offline AC/DC supplies, such as PMP4334, the transformer is a custom design done by a magnetics vendor.  When TI creates a reference design, often times we rely on our magnetics vendors for the majority of the transformer design.  We specify the input voltage range, output voltage(s)/current, aux voltage/current and primary magnetizing inductance.  The magnetics vendor then creates an initial design, and we work with them to improve it to meet the system requirements.

    Best Regards,
