WEBENCH® Tools/UCD90120A: Appropriate software to run simulations on the IBIS models provided by TI

What software do I need to use the IBIS model provided by TI? I am currently using the TINA-TI software and was unable to open the IBIS model for the UCD90120A power sequencer provided by the TI website.

    Hi Marko, 

    The IBIS models for digital I/O buffers. TINA-TI does not support them out-of-the-box. They are most commonly used with a dedicated signal integrity analysis tool such as HyperLynx or Zuken.

    Hi Qian,

    The IBIS model file provided for the UCD90120A power sequencer does not open in HyperLynx. It seems that when I open the provided IBIS file it is only a text file and not a file that could be opened in HyperLynx. Does TI provide IBIS model files that I could use and import to HyperLynx DRC 6.2.2.? If so could you provide me a link to where I can download the IBIS model that I could import to HyperLynx?

    Hello

    IBIS model at www.ti.com is the only available model for the device. We do not have other version.

    We will check to see the right tool to run this and get back to you.
