Hi TI experts,

I'm more interested in the reference design(TIDA-00779) but here I come across PTC(B470N) in the circuit for inrush current limit.

usually NTC is used to limit inrush current, would you please give me some suggestions on using NTC or PTC to have proper inrush current limit.

    NTC thermistors are the most commonly used limiter. They have a wide range of uses and applications. However, a few scenarios exist that require a positive temperature coefficient (PTC). If a system meets one of the exceptions listed below, a PTC thermistor is the best choice.
