TIDA-010039: Updates of FW/SW reference code to be continued?

Hi,

will TI continue to update/enhance FW/SW of TIDA-010039 (regularly),
or is FW/SW development on hold / stopped for TIDA-010039?

    Hi,

    We do plan on releasing the TIDA-010039 in the C2000ware Digital Power SDK in 1Q 2021 

    What this means is any critical bugs will be fixed , we may also port this on newer devices. The FW will be updated to the latest c2000ware and library support will be updated. 

    New features are reviewed and approved based on business case.

    I will check Q1/21 SDK release.

    You mentioned "...we may also port this on newer devices...".
    Does this mean, that you are going to port TIDA-010039 to a different controller card, other than F2837x?

    At this point there is no plan to do so, on F2837xD based SW,

    but typically when we release a solution in the SDK that is something we do depending on the market need and also if the HW can support it :) 

    Also note we follow a modular philosophy and our SDK code, so all the changes are brought to a settings.h file (data dictionary for the solution)

    You can see examples like TIDM-1000 which have been supported on F2838xD, F2837xD and F28004x using the same SW and very minor changes to the HAL and settings.h files.
