In order to design a Boost PFC ..we are in need of simulation model (spice) for ti's pwm controller ic "UCC3854"...we searched it in TI's Model library & on the web but could not found..

Anil,

We currently do not have a model for the UC3854. It is a high power factor preregulator. We do not have many models for the PFC devices. Power stage designer is available to assist you with your design.

Thanks but why are you not developing this model.... many designers like me are waiting for this model....please add this model in your development queue asap...

Anil,

I will add it to our development queue, per your request. I believe that AEi may have a model for it in their PSpice libraries, if your need is very urgent.

Hi Anil,

This is a very old device. We have models for some of the newer PFC devices which may be of interest to you. Please consider using some of these newer devices.

Thanks for suggesting new PFC Devices but i am only interested in UC3854.

because of its DIP package & reliability.

You can find the PSpice model of the UC3854 in the OrCAD's CONTROLLER Library in the software 'OrCAD' of the Cadence.
