LM5017, LM5018 & LM5019 WEBENCH

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5019, LM5018, LM5017

Dear all,

On Wednesday, August 5 it was possible to create a multi output design, a Fly-Buck, with the LM5017, LM5018 and LM5019.

On Thursday, it was no longer possible to create a multi output design and on Friday, it was not possible to use the WEBENCH with these devices.

What happened?

Best regards,

Roelof Atema

  • Hi Roelof,

It looks like LM5017 family of WEBENCH product folder panels have been down and Flybuck applications are not showing up as you have pointed out. We are looking into this and will get back shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thanks,
  • Hi Roelof,

    I apologize for this issue regarding the LM5017, LM5018, and LM5019 Fly-Buck WEBENCH® designs.

We are in the process of updating the Fly-Buck WEBENCH models to support some additional options, which required us to disabled these Fly-Buck designs temporarily.  They should be back up within the next day or so.

In the meantime, if you need any design assistance with your Fly-Buck design, please let me know and I will gladly help out.

Again, I apologize about this, and I will immediately notify you once these Fly-Buck devices are back up and running in WEBENCH.

    Best Regards,

  • Dear Jonathan and Nikhil,

    It's ok!

We're using the LM5017, LM5018 and the LM5019 for a few years now and did a lot of tricks with these devices.

LM5018 Double Isolated Fly-Buck Converter with two seperate inductors. 12V, 6V and 6V. And I can send a lot of other pictures from different projects.

The WEBENCH is a easy and nice tool, but reading and understanding the datasheets is good enough to create beautiful designs.

    Best regards,

    Roelof Atema
