Part Number: LM3940
Does a Spice simulation model exist for this device (or any other simulation model)? If it doesn't exist, are there plans to generate one? If there is no plans to generate one, is there a generic template to create one?

Roy,
We currently do not have a PSpice model for the LM3940. I do not know of any plans to create one. As a possible alternative, could you use the LM38690? It has PSpice model and WEBENCH support. The device uses a MOSFET device instead of the PNP device in the LM3940.
I do not know of a generic template to produce a model for an LDO that is publically available.
