TIDA-00120: TIDA-00120/01042

Part Number: TIDA-00120

Actually, the design of the batterypack is a funded project for Africa for use both as a mobile battery for e-scooters, and home use as energy storage because the power grid is very unreliable.

I do need to replace the FETs and coils for use of 48V 20Ah battery pack, but i also need to change software in the MCU to accomodate to the higher pack voltage. Has this been done before as you know off?

  • Hi Jo,

Modifying the design to 48V was not tried by us. But there are some instances of this been done by some external design teams. To my knowledge, the only issue they had spent time in solving was the MOSFET - gate driver interfacing. The layout becomes more critical as the voltage increases.
