U3 is a MOSFET, U1 and D3 are diodes. As U1, U3, and D3 are not TI devices, you may need to contact each associated vendor to understand the reason. You can try using different MOSFET and diodes to see which can work.

Hi,

I replaced U3, U1 and D3. But I still got convergence issues.

My problem is getting the controller UCC28C44 to run. In the included zip. file I build the boost reverence design from the datasheet. I only used TI devices. But I still get convergence issues.

I also increased VNTOL, ABSTOL and ITL4. But I didn’t help.

Hi,

It looks your created symbol of UCC28C44 has license issue. I suggest you started with UCC28C43 transient model on https://www.ti.com/product/UCC28C43#design-development and substitute UCC28C43 with UCC28C44 on the same UCC28C43 created model.

UCC28C43 transient model works ok.

Hi,

It looks even better you can use UCC28C41 transient ref design to make simulation.. UCC28C44 has only difference on UVLO compared to UCC28C41. Actually UCC28C44 model is changed from UCC28C41 only on UVLO. These models have unencrypted version so you can make change on the model from UCC28C41 to UCC28C44. As UCC28C41 transient model is running ok from my try, a lot of time can be saved to trouble shoot the license issue. Also UCC28C41 transient model simulation establishes a base point of UCC28C41 model is good and transient simulation is ok to make running. if UVLO is not your intended simulation check, I think you even can use UCC28C41 transient and modify it to your needed - this way can help track which step goes wrong if it happened.
