Hi Team,

Customer encountering errors during the simulation of the PSPICE. Below is the inquiry.

I have tried to simulate schematic file, but it didnt work. Here are several errors, which session log gives me

INFO(ORNET-1169): Unable to open the property mapping file: devparam.txt. To resolve this problem, ensure that PSpice.ini exists at the correct location. After that check Library Path in simulation settings contains <installation-path>/tools/pspice/library path and then create the netlist again.
INFO(ORNET-1162): Unable to create design property file.

I also tried several methods to fix it but with no any result

Hi Maynard,

I was able to simulate using the official Capture CIS (Allegro Design Entry CIS), so I think there is no problem with the Pspice model. However, I still need to check if the PSpice for TI supports it.

I will get back to you tomorrow.

I just also received new information from our customer on this matter. Below is the detail

I have finally found the exact problem of my situation.

I tried this method to launch my first simulation, but it doesn't work. I used down below instruction:

And all of those steps were not enough to start the first simulation. I have chosen the most simple combination
of the components to run the test. Can you help with it?

Hi Maynard,

I was able to simulate the LMZ10500 model that I downloaded in TI.com on PSpice for TI application (see figure below).

1. Are you using the latest revision of PSpice for TI? It should be version: 17.4-2020 S004.

2. Which model did you used in the simulation? Is it from from TI.com?

3. Can you send the PSpice model that you use so I can check on it?

Thanks for the update.

Can you ask the customer to try the attached simulation model if it works? And can you ask him to send the model they use in the simulation so I can verify it as well?
