PSPICE-FOR-TI: LM5017: Pspice Simulation. Incorrect number of interface nodes for X_U1

Hello,

I have simulated a design using the LM5017 IC but i get the error "Incorrect number of interface nodes for X_U1"

Could you please help me to identify the problem with the simulation.

Hi Luis,

Where did you get this schematic? The symbol in your schematic has 8 pins but the current version of the symbols has 9:

Please search for LM5017 in the PSpice Part Search panel and place the current version of the symbol. If you have not used PSpice Part Search, please watch this video (starting at 1'18"):

Hi JC,

I got the part from the library of PSpice. I also Downloaded the model from the product page of the LM5017 and also got the model with 8 pins.

Hi Luis,

You are right. It looks like the symbol provided is wrong.

For the time being, please open the model test circuit from the PSpice Part Search. The schematic has a 9pin symbol which you can copy and paste into your own schematic.

I'll ask the model developer to fix this.
