Hi team

Good day!

My customer want to know that:

How can I work with external Flash in the TIDA-01580 project

What API can I use to connect (Write, Read, Erase) an external Flash (MX25U512) to TIDA-01580. An example is desirable.
Using: CCS 7.0.20000013 16.09.03 LTS SDK 1.40.00.45
XDC Tools 3.50.02.20

In older versions of the SDK, I found functions for working with Flash SPIFFS, NVS. In my version of the SDK, this functionality seems to be missing. What to do?

    Hello,

    TIDA-01580 can support external memory which can be interfaces through SPI lines. Though it has not been mounted and tested, I believe it should be treated as a standard SPI peripheral and code can be written accordingly.

    Regarding the SDK functionality, it is better to reach out to SimpleLink product line to check if they have any example codes for Flash.
