PSpice for TI ERROR(ORPSIM-15461): Incorrect number of interface nodes with SN74LS365A

Hello,

I encountered an error while using the SN74LS365 model in PSpice for TI. I am aware that it's due to a mismatch of wanted to provided inputs/nodes; however, as much as I try I can't seem to find a solution. I tried reconnecting my connections, differnt mixes of provided inputs, etc. As I'm very new to Spice simulations the solution might be very simple. I included an archived example project file using just that part and a couple of voltage sources. I'm running PSpice for TI version 17.4-2020-S006.

    I don't believe it is your fault. I think there is something wrong with the SPICE model. Are you able to use another three-state buffer from the library to model this? They are only behavioral models and so will not accurately model the specifications anyways.

    I've started looking through the library for three-state buffers and I found that all 74LS give the same error and the 74LS541 circuit is missing from the libary (ORPSIM-15108). So it must be a family wide problem. I was able to use the 74ALS family instead.

    Thanks for pointing this out. I have added for our LS family models to be looked at updated.
    Yes go ahead and use the ALS family of devices as the models will function very similarly.
