  • Hello Suguru,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am able to reproduce the issue on my system as well. Please give me some time to investigate further and I will inform you of my findings.

    Thank you again,

    Jackie

  • Hello Suguru,

There is an issue with this model and I have contacted the product team to resolve the problem. In the meantime, you can use the model by following these steps:

    1. Open your schematic design in PSpice for TI
    2. In the top toolbar, click "Place" -> "Part..."
    3. A new window pane, "Place Part," will open on the right
    4. In the section "Libraries," click on the Add Library icon, which looks like a plus sign inside a green circle
    5. This will open a file browser window. You will need to find the file LM13700.OLB. Depending on your installation, it could be in a few different places. You might find it in any of these locations:
      1. C:\cds_spb_home\cdssetup\pspTILibDir
      2. C:\SPB_Data\cdssetup\pspTILibDir
      3. C:\Users\< Your windows username >\cdssetup\pspTILibDir
      4. You can also try to locate the file by searching in the Start Menu
    6. Click Open when you locate the file. Now you should see "LM13700" listed under the Libraries section. Click on this.
    7. Now you should see LM13700/NS in the Part List section. Double click this and place the part into your schematic.

Please let me know if you experience any additional trouble, or feel free to open a new thread. Thank you again for bringing this problem to our attention.

  • Hey Morita-san,

This error occurs as the model was not uploaded to the library correctly, I will fix this and  expect it will be in the integrated library by end of next week. In the meantime, you may use the 3rd Party import to import the model from the product page

If you open the netlist, these are the pin assignments:
    1: Amplifier Bias Input
    2: Diode Bias
    3: Positive Input
    4: Negative Input
    5: Output
    6: Negative power supply
    7: Buffer Input
    8: Buffer Output
    11: Positive power supply

    All the best,
    Carolina

  • Dear Jackie-san, Caro-san,

    Thank you for your advise.
I could place the LM13700 ,here.

But unfortunately, this symbol is not suitable for my simulation.
    I hope the symbol ,below.

So I will wait for your update.
I'm looking forward to updating Pspice.
I will re-confirm that after update.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

  • Hello Morita-san,

The one I published will look exactly like the one you have in your PSpice. Please use the following pin assignment to connect your device:

    1: Amplifier Bias Input
    2: Diode Bias
    3: Positive Input
    4: Negative Input
    5: Output
    6: Negative power supply
    7: Buffer Input
    8: Buffer Output
    11: Positive power supply

    All the best,
    Carolina

  • Hello Carolina-san,

    Sorry late for my reply.

I understood that current symbol shape is correct.

By the way ,when can I update integrated library ?

I have met the error still.

Or should I do something for update ?

    Could you please tell me?

    Thank you.

    Suguru

  • Hey Morita-san,

Can you share a screenshot of the error you have? I

    All the best,
    Carolina

  • Hello Carolina-san,

I have showed you screenshot of the error already.

    I uploaded again .

I couldn't know update for PSpice for TI .

    Could you please tell me?

    Thank you.

  • Hey Morita-san,

I misunderstood that there is an error when you do the third party import. Is there an error there?
I pushed the symbol onto the integrated library a week ago but it didn't sync properly. I am facing this issue with a number of models. We are still working on resolving this issue.

In the meantime, if there is no issue using the third party import, please go ahead and use that method.

    All the best,
    Carolina

  • Hello Carolina-san,

       >I misunderstood that there is an error when you do the third party import. Is there an error there?

    No there isn't.

There error is using TI library symbol.

It isn't using third party import.

I'm waiting with expectations for the update.

    Thank you.

    Suguru

  • Hello Morita-san,
