TIDA-00817: Design modification for implementing for a high voltage stack

Part Number: TIDA-00817

I am working on a Battery management system for a high voltage Li-NMC battery pack with the maximum pack voltage of 270VDC and a maximum capacity of 25Ah (8p32s). I was planning to implement the active balancing reference design TIDA-00817 for the 270VDC volt system instead of the aux battery which is used in the reference design.

I am using 8 EMB1428 drivers and a single EMB1499 converter to divide the entire pack into modules of 8 cells, and also using potential divider to meet the 60V voltage requirement for the EMB1428 driver. I will also be changing the transformer accordingly.

Based on the documentation for the reference design TIDA-00817 and TIDA-00239 it wasn't very clear whether I can extend the reference design to such a high voltage system. Please do tell me if my design approach for implementing an active balancing with BQ76pl455A-Q1 battery monitor is correct or is the TIDA-00817 reference design not usable for such high voltages.
