Hi,
I want to design Totem pole pfc for 2kw. How to extend the design to 2kw?? How to make the required calculations of input inductor and output capacitor for totempole??

Hi,
You can use the same equations when designing a traditional CCM bridge Boost PFC. Therefore, calculation tools for Analog PFC controller (like UCC28180 calculation tool shown below) is still valid for totem pole PFC.

Output capacitance is generally decided by ripple current, voltage, and hold up time requirements.
Another signal phase totem pole PFC design is TIDA-010203, which you can use as a reference.

Hi,
I understood that I can take calculations of analog controller for UCD3138 but coming to the schematics both were different. Other than the values of L boost and C out. How can I calculate R1,R2,R3,R4,Cp1,Cp2 ??
How can I compare analog values to these values??
Attaching both the images for your reference.
If you want to UCD3138 to control TP PFC, you had better refer to PMP20873 schematic. For the input voltage and boost sensing, it can be the same between 1kW and 2kW. The difference is current sensing. You can reduce current amplifier gain by half and then you can double output power. The cap also can be same.

Hi,
What changes do I need to make for reducing gain of current amplifier??
I have not found any technical documentation for PMP20873 unless EVMPFC0026. Is there any such document available for PMP20873??
