Hi Experts,

My customer met a similar problem in below link. When customer creates a new simulation profile, the contents in the Simulation Settings window disappear. Restarting the software or computer doesn't work. Do you know the possible reasons? Thanks

  • Hello Arie,

What version of PSpice for TI is the customer using? Version number is indicated in the middle of the Start Page when the customer launches PSpice for TI.

Is the customer using a Windows 10 machine?

Does this problem occur for all projects or only one specific project?

    Thank you,

    Jackie

  • hello jackie

the version is 2021.1, and yes, the customer is using the windows 10.

this problem occurs for all projects.

  • Hi Yaqian,

Please try the following steps to resolve the issue:

    1. Rename the 'OrCAD_CaptureTIPSpice_Install' and 'OrCAD_PSpiceTIPSpice_Install' in cdssetup folder , the steps are below

          a).Close PSpice for TI application

b).Go to %CDS_HOME%\cdssetup  (often also located at C:\cds_spb_home)

          c).Rename the 'OrCAD_CaptureTIPSpice_Install' and 'OrCAD_PSpiceTIPSpice_Install' folder.

d). Reopen PSpice for TI application and check

    2. Delete the 'CaptureTIPSpice_Install' in Registry Editor , the steps are below

a). Close PSpice for TI application

b). Click on Start > type "regedit". This will open your registry editor.

c). Delete the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Orcad\CaptureTIPSpice_Install, Right click and Delete

d). Reopen PSpice for TI application and check

Please let me know your progress.

    Thank you,

    Jackie
