TIDA-00641: Is the firmware used in this reference design available?

I would like to use this firmware as a starting place for a new design if it is available.

    It seems this thread was routed back to us. I'll reach out to the team at TI who developed this reference design to ask if they can share the firmware with you. I'll get back to you with a reply by the end of this week.

    I tried to find the team responsible for this reference design but had no luck. I'm going to keep looking and will give you an update once I do. For the sake of not having this thread open for too long, I will temporarily close it and reply back once I hear find the appropriate contact who can provide the firmware files.     I am also unable to find these files, but we have come a long way since this reference design and now include 1/256 ustepping in several integrated devices. 

    I am not sure on your stepper current needs, but please check out the DRV8824/26/28 as options to consider.  The DRV8428 might be the best fit if your current needs are similar to the DRV8848.

    Thanks for the help with this. 

    I would love to use the chips you suggested, unfortunately they are unavailable and have long leadtimes. 

    Because of this I am using the DRV8428P. It uses a PWM drive scheme similar to the older DRV8848. I need at least 1/64 ustepping and nothing that offers that is available anytime soon. 

    I had hoped this firmware would give me a bit of a head start on a DRV8428P design but I pretty much know what it needs to do.
