Can someone help me understand if we utilize a bi-directional step-up converter to adjust the voltage of our battery from 48 volts to 400 volts? 

Would this 48v-400v converter work? We have 225 battery cells total so that number does not match up. with theh tech specs. Curious if there are any others options that might work and if we would need to have to UL Certify again. There is a Three Phase Inverter that should work but they sell in EU only.

    TIDA-00951 is a reference which can operate forward or backward, from 48V to 400V, with isolation. But, it can not transition seamless between forward and backward.

    Then, what is the requirements in your application? Do you need isolation? Do you need power flow bidirectional seamless?

    We have another reference design TIDM-2002, which is designed for EV and HEV,  you can simply change the turn ratio and modify it into 48V to 400V.

    We just need to up step from 48 volts to 400 volts. We have roughly 225 LTO Battery Cells. if TIDM-202 is a good option, do you believe if we up step the voltage from 48 volts to 400 volts that we will need to do UL Certification all over again for our battery?

    Sorry for haven't gotten your meaning.

    But, 48V is safe voltage, 400V is not. If you change your battery output from 48V to 400V, you will MUST need to do safety certification for HV. I think IEC62368 is mandatory.
