Hello Sir,

I have several Queries.

1. Can I use IC no. UCC27512MDRSTEP instead of UCC27511DBVR? If so, what will be the output resistor's value instead of R26 (3.3 Ohm) and R27 (1 Ohm)? [Note: As instead of Split output OUTH and OUTL ,  UCC27512MDRSTEP has only one output. What will be the value of that output pin resistor?)

2. Can I replace TL431AIDBZR with TL431LIAQDBZRQ1 keeping other parameter same?

3. What will be exact replacement of IC TPS7A1601DGNT (LDO) and UCC27714D(High side, Low side Gate Driver) which are available in TI now? If need to change some external components for this replacement what those will be?

Please guide me with the above queries.

    Hi,

    1. Yes, you can use UCC27512 to replace UCC27511. You can change R27 (1ohm) to a diode to be able to fast turn off the power FET.
    2. Yes, you can replace TL431AIDBZR with TL431LIAQDBZRQ1 without changing other parameters in this design.
    3. I found TLV760 is available in TI inventory. But because the input voltage rating of TLV760 (30V) is lower than TPS7A1601DGNT (60V), so you will have to add resistor and Zener diode at LDO input to keep LDO input voltage is lower than TLV760 voltage rating. For half bridge driver replacement, I see UCC27710 is still in stock. But since the output current level is lower, you might want to add pnp/npn totem pole pair at the outputs of the half bridge driver to increase driving capability.
