PSPICE-FOR-TI: Spice for TI doesn't run with the attached error message.

Hello guys,

One of my customers is trying to simulate LM5085 circuit using "LM5085 Transient Model" by Spice for TI for their new products.

They used a few of models (transistor and diode) released by other company in the simulation.

Then the attached error message was popped up and the simulation was stopped.

At this moment, they have the following questions.

Could you please give me your reply?

Q1. Is there any limitation of the number of other company Spice model which can be used for Spice for TI.

Q2. If Q1 answer is yes, can the number be increased?

Q3. If Q1 answer is no, is there any countermeasure to resolve the error and to run Spice for TI correctly?

Hi Kazuya,

The message already explained it.

You can use any number of models released by other companies, it'll be the same message.

Hi Kazuya,

Yes. You just need to place 3 probes into the schematic and launch the simulation again.
