My customer is looking for information about  L2, C7, and C8 in tidrbp9.pdf

Can this type of topology capture radio frequency without being powered by an external voltage?

    Hi Renan,

    The BOM and other design files can be downloaded from the WL1837MODCOM8I page here.

    L2 is a placeholder for a shunt component, but it wasn't needed on the EVM to match the antenna. 

    The RF_ANT1 RF path is routed to ANT1 via C5. The RF path can be routed to the UFL (J5) instead by removing C5 and populating it on C7.

    It is the same thing for C8. RF_ANT2 can be routed to the UFL (J6) by removing C6 and populating it on C8.

    Can you be more specific to your last question? I'm not sure if I fully understand.
