Hi team,

My customer PFC design spec s 6KW output.

So Can I base on TIDA-00779 circuit to increase power rating up to 6KW?

( Ex-Change Power inductor, MOSFET, DIODE.) .But I worry UCC28180D can suport up to 6KW or not. 

Could you give me better suggestion? or TI has more powerful reference design?

    Hi, Jimmy

     Traditional boost PFC are suggested to be under 4kW with >180VAC input voltage, if the input voltage is even lower or the power rating >4kW, suggest to design with interleaved boost PFC topology, to reduce the current stress and power loss for the MOSFET and inductor, TI's interleave boost PFC controller UCC28070. here are the reference design.

    TI also has Totempole PFC solution which can also handle high power, but it need digital control by processor.
