Analog Engineers Calculator

I installed the Analog Engineers Calculator on one of my Win10 desktops (I already have it running on two other win10 machines with no issues). When I launched it, and opened the screen for INA VCM vs Vout, I got the following dialog box.
indicating that data were missing (likely because the INA combo box is empty)
It appears that the data associated with the INA's is missing, even though I can see what look like INA data in the Texas Instruments\Analog Engineers Calculator\Data folder in the
X86 Program Files folder on the c-drive
The installation appeared to go without a hitch, so I'm lost as to what failed to connect the data with the tool.

  • Bob,

One of the features of the program is to automatically download the latest database for this tool and for other tools.  If you do not have an internet connection this folder will not be updated.  Also make sure the feature is enabled if you have an internet connection (see below).  When updated, the software creates a "LabView Data" folder.  This is most often located in your "Documents" folder (see below).  If you have other computers with the software working, you could copy the folder using a ZIP Stick to this computer.  Let me know if this helps.

  • Hi Art. That did it. For whatever reason a few of the folders inside the LabView folder were empty (particularly the INA data folder). I copied the entire LabView folder in from another win 10 machine, and all the INA's appeared.

    Thanks so much!
