TIDEP0056: Thermal printer inquiry

Hi Experts,

Our customer is looking for development board for a thermal printer development.
Do we have such a board where he can develop thermal printer firmware as well software and hardware?

TIDEP0056 reference design | TI.com 
I have provided the reference design above, but it has not provided a single board solution.
Customer want a single or double solution where he can connect the thermal head and develop the first POC solution.
Please advise if do we have this solution. Thank you so much in advance.

    Hello Gerald,

    TI does not provide a single board solution for thermal printing related to that reference design. The design guide details the beaglebone black, thermal printer, and breadboard materials needed to do the design from the hardware side.

    I just realized that one of the download links at https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDEP0056#design-products  is misnamed. TIDCBS3.ZIP is the software download. Note that the software and documentation were generated in 2015 and have not been updated since. We can answer general development questions about PRU, but I will not be able to answer specific questions about that firmware in particular.

    If you are looking for other potential options for thermal printer control outside of PRU-ICSS, I can reassign this thread to one of our marketing owners.
