Hello:

Can we buy the eval kit involved with the part number TIDA-01456?

Is the firmware included in the C2000 package?

If not, can you make it available?

    thank you for your interest in TIDA-01456. This reference design won't be available to purchase through TI. However for most reference design like the TIDA-01456 we offer the Altium project files, Gerber files and BOM to build your own evaluation board..

    Bill of materials (BOM) — TIDA-01456
    This reference design was tested using a modified software as outlined in the application report "Sensorless Field Oriented Control of 3-Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Using TMS320F2833x, link https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sprabq4/sprabq4.pdf. However we won't have that modified software available anymore.
     
    To develop your own C2000 MCU firmware for a 3-phase inverter I'd like to refer to the MotorControl software development kit (SDK) for C2000 MCUs: https://www.ti.com/tool/C2000WARE-MOTORCONTROL-SDK. It is a cohesive set of software infrastructure, tools, and documentation designed to minimize C2000 MCU based motor control system development time targeted for various three-phase motor control applications. The software includes firmware that runs on C2000 motor control evaluation modules (EVMs) and you may modify an example project accordingly to you own hardware.
