TINA-TI: about forward transformer model for TINA-TI from UCC2897A

Hello E2E,

I was download TINA-TI file of UCC2897A for study about forward transformer.
This model has some parameters.
Please tell me the meaning of each parameter.

NP1 : primary turns
NS1 : secondary turns
RP1 : DC resistance of primary wire
RS1 : DC resistance of secondary wire
LLEAK : leakage inductance
LM : ??
RCORE : ??

Hello,

When you request "meaning of each parameter", do you want the numeric values (i.e. numbers, like 100 turns, 10 turns, 5 ohms, 1 ohm, etc) or do you want definitions/descriptions like you might find in a text book?

Hello again,

From the simulation file, LM = 68uH and Rcore = 5kohms.

LM is the magnetizing inductance of the primeary (uH) and Rcore is the reluctance of the core (ampere-turn per Webaer, AT/Wb, or 1/H).

These parameters are usually specified by the transformer vendor.
