TIDA-050047: Chip shortage, USB-C PD Li-Ion charging IC's

Part Number: TIDA-050047
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25792, BQ25790, BQ25731, TPS25750

Hello,

I'm designing a circuit which will charge 2 Li-Ion cells via an USB-C input. But I get stuck at chosing for a suitable IC.

Most chips are not avaiable (according to octopart). Does someone have any tips for IC's which are currently available and therefore are suitable for new designs?

Currently I'm looking at the TIDA-050047 design guide but the BQ25792 is also out of stock.

Best regards,
Niek
