I'm using the PLLatinum Sim for LMX2594.

When I want to get Loop filter components less than 100kHz loop bandwidth, how I calculate loop filter?

I selected "Advanced" in "Feature Level" and "4th order" in "Filter Architecture".

I typed 100kHz in "Deign Target" box and press "Calculate Loop Filter" button.

Then it shows 113.97kHz.

I want to get less than 100kHz, so I typed 80kHz.

But the result doesn't changed (113.97kHz).

I attached a capture file of my setting.

Please let me know how to calculate loop filter components automatically.

Hi Katagi-san,

I just tried, I don't have this problem. Are you using the latest version from ti.com? If not, please download and use the latest version. If the problem persist, try change your computer language to English, see if that helps.

Hi Katagi-san,

That might be computer language issue, please try change the language setting of the computer.

Katagi-san,

I've replicated the issue on PLLatinum Sim 1.6.2 in English language as well. Let me discuss with the maintainer for PLLatinum Sim and get back to you.

Meanwhile, you can use PLLatinum Sim 1.6.0 (earlier version) as a workaround. I'll post the link for 24 hours on E2E below.

Katagi-san,

I've identified the issue with the maintainer. We're working on building a fix and releasing a new version of PLLatinum Sim. It should take about one week.

I've taken down the 1.6.0 version of PLLatinum Sim. Let me know if you did not get a chance to download it.

Thank you for letting me know the issue.

I downloaded earlier version (1.6.0) and tried in same way.

I did the same way, but I still have same problem.

Am I wrong how to use this software? Is that a problem of computer?

My computer is win10, Japanese language.

Katagi-san,

It turns out the web build of 1.6.0 had the issue, but the internal version of 1.6.0 that I was testing did not. Apologies for the confusion, I was not expecting software with the same version number to behave differently.

I will discuss with our maintainer and make sure the fix is prepared in 1.6.3 release next week. Apologies for the delay.
