TIDA-01041: wrong design files

Looks like that schematics, and cad files are incomplete and mismatch vs board in the section of CV control (i.e SV601272A-Analog.SchDoc)

There is missing U2A EA filter network and Q16 connection

Can TI upload correct files for it?

Hi Marcin,

There is mismatch between block diagram and schematic. Block diagram shows incorrect connection. The schematic is correct. U2A is not required that's why compensation network is missing. Q16 is also not needed in the design.

You can download latest design for 100A battery tester design from below. TIDA-01041 and TIDA-01042 are same design expect, we paralleled 2x TIDA-01041 board to get 200A.

Yep I agree that is not needed if we need only CV control of battery, but for input regulation (like MPPT or if we have 2 batteries on input and output) that would be helpful. Looks like first version was intended to have 2 Voltage control loops. Do TI have schematic for that?

yes, you can check below LM5170 EVM user guide. There are two voltage loops for LV and HV side of the synchronous buck or boost converter. Design calculator is available for loop compensation on LM5170 product page.
