What is the purpose of the MOSFET's in the POE input bridge rectifiers (eg Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 - CSD19538Q3A) of the PMP20859 ?

Hi Ian,

Those FETs are used as a partial active bridge. They are used to reduce the power dissipation.

Thanks, obvious now.

So not really needed in .af class 0 (13W) design as power loss in the Schottky diodes will be quite small ?
