TIDA-010237: information about coil used for the Flux gate sensor?

Part Number: TIDA-010237

Team,

Can you please share more details about the coil that has been used?
The design guide - tiduf03 mentions Hitachi nanocrystalline (FT-3K70T F2520C).

But what about the wiring?
Wire characteristic (size, impedance, material)?
How many turns for the wiring?
Could you as well share a picture too?

Thanks in advance,

A.

  • Hi A.

I can definitely share more details on the magnetic sensor.  The wire used for the drive coil was a #34 magnet wire, leads 3-4 “ long stripped and tinned ½”. The number of turns on the toroidal core is 200 turns total or 100 turns bifilar.  Attached below is a picture of the core and windings.

    Best regards,

    Errol
