TIDA-01624: JTAG connection issues with CC2640R2F device

Part Number: TIDA-01624
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2

Hello,

I resolved some JTAG connection issues a few weeks ago with my TIDA-01624 board, but now I'm experiencing a new, more confusing issues than before. Originally, my JTAG connections did not match the JTAG footprint of the TIDA-01624. However, I eventually got it working and was able to flash my device. I carried on this way for a while, until eventually one day I tried to program my device again and received a new error:

The value is '-242' (0xffffff0e).
The title is 'SC_ERR_ROUTER_ACCESS_SUBPATH'.

The explanation is:
A router subpath could not be accessed.
The board configuration file is probably incorrect.

I have looked on some support forums and tried to follow some suggestions from there, but I have had no luck so far. This issue is mostly confusing because up until about a week ago I was able to flash my device successfully and run in debug. I rewired my setup at some point, but I find it very unlikely that it would cause this issue, as I have checked that my connections are in fact correct. Here are some details about my setup:

I am using a LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2's XDS110 debugger to program my device. Alternatively, I had also used an MSP-EXT432E401R to debug my device successfully. Now, neither launchpad can program the device. I have also tried using UNIFLASH to try and mass erase the TIDA-01624 flash but was unable to connect to the IcePick.

I will gladly provide further detail if necessary to solve this issue and would appreciate any suggestions.

Best,

Sergio
