ANALOG-ENGINEER-CALC tool improvement suggestions

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ANALOG-ENGINEER-CALC

I messaged TI and they said I should post here. Maybe with enough interest TI will update the ANALOG-ENGINEER-CALC tool. My suggestion is to allow entry of one of the calculated values. In the Passive sections under the Find Voltage Divider tool, having the ideal resistor set is a great start. However, it would also be nice to be able to enter one of the two resistor values. In addition, the tool should calculate the series resistance and the power dissipation.

To further improve, a resistor divider is sometimes used to divide down a higher voltage into a ADC. There is typically an input bias current into the first stage; adding the option to account for the bias current would also be a great addition to the voltage divider tool.

Other tools such as the series resistor and parallel resistors could also use these minor updates as well.

Hopefully this thread could add other improvement suggestions that TI should implement.
