Hello,

I am looking to get these PCB's manufactured and assembled.

Unfortunately it appears to be missing the drill file data and the pick and place X Y files.

Would you also have the BOM list in a XLSX format please?

Hi Bal,

Can you work with the Altium Files that we provided with the project? This contains all the schematic and layout data.

Can your manufacturer create the desired manufacturing data out of the Altium Project?

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately I do not have Altium. I have uploaded the Gerber files to the manufacturers website and they have reported the drill file data missing. They would also require the X Y pick and place files to add the components to the PCB.

Hi Thomas,

Yes, I just uploaded the files from the TIDCDQ7B.ZIP folder and it is reporting the Drill file not found and Outline not found.

Is TCAN1462V-Q1 or an alternative CAN transceiver CAN FD (SIC) compatible with the PCB? The pins appear compatible but pin 5 is connected to a regulated supply in some designs?

Hi Bal,

Pin 5 seems to be used for "Transceiver I/O level shifting supply voltage (Devices with "V" suffix only)".

If you are using a device w/o the V, it seems that they are pin-to-pin compatible.

I am not sure which device you exactly want to use, but TCAN1462V-Q1 has the "V" and therefore needs some connection on pin 5. As TIDA-01487 has pin 5 left open, you may be able to blue-wire the appropriate connection.

In case you need additional calcification on the CAN transceiver, I suggest that you create a new e2e entry with your question(s) about this part. The new questions is then getting routed directly to the responsible support engineer from the CAN product line.
