PSPICE-FOR-TI: ORCAP-1116 error when generating part

Is it possible to generate a part in PSpice for TI using a TINA-TI Spice model? I'm using the INA223 model provided and trying to generate a part from it, but run into issues.

When I select the file, it does not auto populate the part name nor can I type something in manually. When I click ok it prompts an error. If I select a different source file type that allows me to enter the part name manually, before switching back to PSpice Model Library type, I get "ERROR (ORCAP-1116) There are no models or subcircuits in the specified PSpice Model library." Any advice?

Hi Drew,

I'm not sure why there isn't a PSpice model for this part. Let me check with the product line to see why that is.

You might need to rename the .cir file to .lib. And then create your own package. There are video tutorials for that on ti.com PSpice for TI page.

Hi David,

Appreciate the response. The model I downloaded only came with .lib, .tld, and .tsm files. I cannot place the .lib file currently. Please let me know what the product line says.
