TIDA-010062: POWERSUITE Parameters definition and function

Part Number: TIDA-010062

Tool/software:

Hi experts,

I'm asking this question for my customer.

As shown below in the TIDA-010062 PFC stage, some parameters confused customer.

1. power rated/Operating represent what?

2. What DCR of Li function is? is it used in the app code for some control algorithm?

3. What ESR of Co function is? is it used in the app code for some control algorithm?

Is there any document to describe definition and function of these parameters?

Thanks!

Pickle

  • Hi experts,

    Any comments on this question?

    Thanks!

  • Hi Pickle,

    Sorry for late.

For short, these parameters do not influence to the control loop, except the inductance (Li) is used in the feed forward cacluation. While, the '3300W' maybe copied from ealier design, but not fully modified. It may effect the over current protection threshold.

These parameters should be used to generate the settings.h file in the project, and setting for the proection threshold. You can look into the file of 'settings.h' to see more detail.
