I am currently working on designing an LLC resonant converter based on the Texas Instruments document SLUAAB9A. However, I am facing an issue where the simulated current on the secondary side of the transformer differs significantly from the tested results. Could you provide some insights into what might be going wrong?

Hi,

Please first use the excel design sheet to make design then set up the simulation. We have not heard any challenges when following this design path.

Thank you for the file.

One question on the excel sheet the ratio of f_0 to f_sw is 1.2 but in the document, it is set to 1.1. Which one is correct?

Hi,

I suggest you design with 1.2, to make sure not get fsw > fo. This is to cover the component value tolerance. If you can make sure the component tolerance won't make fsw > fo then 1.1 is ok to use.
