TIDA-00440: LOG114

Part Number: TIDA-00440
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LOG200, LOG114, LMC6082

Tool/software:

Hello,

I would be interested to know the solution to the problem, as I have exactly the same challenge in my testing setup. I was planing to use a LOG114 though. Based on my previous experience with other manufacturer log amps for a similar test setup I was facing a lot of 50Hz as well as high frequency amplified noise in the output of the log amp, which was rendering the measurements in the low current area mostly useless. Could you help me prevent it?, what would be the best approach, a LOG114/LOG200 or the approach of the LMC6082?

Thanks,

Javier
