PMP20588: EMI RE Failed

Tool/software:

Hi expert,

Customer used LM51551 for application 9-36Vin to 54Vo/30W and referred to the PMP20588. During the EMI test, the RE is failed.

Could you please have a look and advise how could possibly resolve it?

    Hi Allan,

    Radiated emissions are nearly impossible to troubleshoot remotely. It is based solely on the customers layout and magnetic construction. 

    The noise is likely generated from switching, so if they could reduce any ringing that they see on the switching waveforms that would help.
