Hi Team,

  • Hi Danilo,

I will preface this by stating that I have no experience with the TIDA-00640 but am a TI Zigbee resources expert.  The User's Guide mentions that Zigbee 3.0 is supported so I would recommend that the customer download Z-Stack 3.0.2 from the TI page.  The UG Test Setup mentions that the Contiki stack is used (third party developer), so I assume there is not any Zigbee material provided with this TID.  However the test setup does include the UART serial interface, which I assume is used to communicate and send instructions to/from the CC2538 device, and I see in the schematic that A0/A1 is used for RX/TX, respectively.  This corresponds with the default settings of the Zigbee Network Processor (ZNP) project, which you can find out more about inside the Z-Stack 3.0.2\Documents\API\Z-Stack ZNP Interface Specification.pdf guide.  Ultimately you should be able to use the Z-Tool Windows program (Z-Stack 3.0.2\Tools\Z-Tool) to interface with the Z-Stack.  Unfortunately the customer will need to open a ZNP project in IAR EWARM  8.22.1 in order to change the interface configuration, as USB is the default and RTS/CTS (flow control) pins are expected when switching to the UART peripheral.  This is further outlined in the Z-Stack resources I've shared.

    Regards,
    Ryan
