Hi Ajay,

A buck converter is used to step down voltage from 12V rail down to 5V on the board. I suggest you go through the design guide which has descriptions of all the sub-blocks and the converter design along with test results and measurements. Additionally you will also find the schematic and PCB project, all under design resources section on the page TIDA-010938 reference design | TI.com. The PCB project is present under CAD/CAE Symbol.
