We have reviewed the mentioned ICs, LM5146-Q1 and LV5144. Technically, both are pin-to-pin compatible, but there is a significant cost difference between them. Could you please help us understand the reason behind this price variation?

Hi Pavan,

The LM5146-Q1 is 100V rated, Q grade, and categorized as functional-safety capable. Also, the LV5144 is not tested to the same extent (only offers typ specs in the EC table).

Also, note we have design tools for the LM5146 (quickstart, PSPICE, WEBENCH).
