TINA library for DRV603 & DRV632

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV632, DRV603

Hello~

As you know well, DRV603 and DRV632 is provide the TINA Library individually.

My question is as below.

The characteristics of these two IC's TINA Library is whether the same or not.

Sorry to somewhat absurd question.

Thanks... C.W. :)

  • Hello, Chang-woo. I want to make sure I understand your question correctly. Are you saying that the DRV603 and the DRV632 appear to have the exact same characteristics in your TINA evaluation? Can you please share some data you've taken to show this? They are definitely different parts, and the models in TINA should reflect the difference.

    Best Regards,
    Matt

  • Hi, Chang-woo,

I am going to move your post to the modeling forum where the guys who develop our models hang out.

  • Hello CW,

I looked at both circuits and they do look similar from the outside, but they each have their own specific characteristics on the inside for example, gain, noise, output resistance, etc. Keep in mind that from a modeling point of view both devices provide a similar functionality, namely amplify, thus from a bird's eye view they are going to look like each other but differences will arise when you look closely at the details. Should you have any further questions please feel free to post on them on this thread, you can also include schematics or data highlighting any particular characteristic that you might be interested in. I hope this answers your question.

    Regards,

    Marcos.
