Simple Switcher - No option for steady state simulation with LM26001

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM26001

I'm using the Simple Switcher tool, and it won't give me the option to run a steady-state simulation with a configuration using the LM26001 switcher, only a bode plot. Why is this? Thanks for any help!

  • Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Texas Instruments' power management solutions.  Unfortunately, we do not have a transient SPICE model available at this time for LM26001, which is why you unable to run a steady-state simulation in WEBENCH®.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know.

  • Thanks Jonathan,

That basically crosses that part off of the list for me then. Any idea if you might have that model available in the future?

  • Hi Bruce,

Sorry, I'm not sure when the transient simulations will be available for this part.  We are planning to have it added, but I can't provide you any timelines.

If you need help selecting another part for your design, or if you need any thing else, please let me know.
