TPS61032 Tina TI

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61032

Hi,

I am trying to run a transient analysis on the TPS61032(Transient Model).

Because I want to use in the highest 1A,I changed from Rload 20Ω to Rload5Ω.

The output voltage has dropped from 5V to 3v below.

Please tell me the cause of why Output voltage was 3.3V below.

Best regards.

  • Watanabe-san,

You will notice from the datasheet that this device is not able to startup into full load. You will need to startup into a lighter load and you can switch to full load after startup is over. I would recommend increasing the load resistance value and applying a load transient in parallel to switch to full load once startup is over.

If you need to apply full load right from before startup, please consider another device from our portfolio. WEBENCH Power Designer can help you select the right part for your needs. In addition it can help perform additional analysis (including spice simulations)  as well. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
