ultra librarian + altium fails for BQ255xx series

hello,

i am trying to create library elements for a BQ25504 and bq25570 but fail. i have ulra librarian 6.4.202 (looks like really old funny software) and altium 16 (newest version). however i cannot load the data generated by ultra librarian into altium successfully? any hints on this? or even better, anyone have library elements for a BQ25504, BQ25570 and CSD13202Q2 for altium ready?

Hi Jan,

Thanks for contacting TI. I was able to run the script provided with the export to import the bxl for BQ25504 into Altium. I didn't try the other two.

I'm attaching a zip file with three Altium footprints and a SchDoc file. You can easily generate a SchLib or SchLib files for the components within the SchDoc.

Note that I included DQK0006C for the FET instead of TRANS_NexFET_Q2. They're almost the same, but DQK0006C is where we're going for the footprint and name.

is it possible you also create altium footprints for a TLV3691 and CSD25310Q2? i am currently trying to recreate the work in TIDU808 but have some problems (see my other post about this). so i need to change the FET for a p-channel device it seems since the one used in the TIDU808 does not work/switch correctly.

Jan,

The CSD253102Q2 uses the same package as the other FET, so you already have that footprint.

Here is our current footprint for the DPF package. It wouldn't shock me if the pads end up as rounded rectangles with 0.05 mm radii in the future (67% corner radius for these pad dimensions).
