Dear support member,

I have two questions:

In the datasheet TPS54614 in the section APPLICATION INFORMATION shows a typical TPS54614 application (for parameters Vin: 3V – 6V; Vout: 1.8V). The input filter is a 220-uF POSCAP capacitor. A 10-uF ceramic capacitor for the TPS54614 is required. But in the scheme in WEBENCHDesigner (for parameters Vin: 3V – 6V; Vout: 1.8V; Iout: 6A; Ambient Temp: 30⁰C) the input filter is a 47.0-uF. Why the input filter is different?
Why the TPS54614 scheme (WEBENCH) no Sim Export button?

The TPS54614 application in the datasheet is very different than the application provided in WEBENCH® currently. The design from WEBENCH® was originally created in SwithcerPro (a previous TI tool for SMPS designs) and then converted into WEBENCH®. That is why it is different from the design in the datasheet. I would use the datasheet information as your guide in this case.

Since this method was used for this device, the Sim Export is also not available for the device.
