PMP4405: Determine Transformer values for UCC28740.

Hi Ti,

I would like to perform a design base on PMP4405 reference design circuit as below specs.

VAC: 220 ~ 265

Vout: 15V@3A

Can you advise on how to determine the transformer values as there is no calculation stated.

    Hi,
    Plesase log on the TI official website and search UCC28740. There will be related document with UCC28740. Pleasee select the (Tools and software), you will see the UCC28740 Design Calculator. In this excel document, there will be transformer calculation value. However, there is no primary, secondary and auxiliary winding turns and gauge. In general, for your power levle, RM8 is a common choice with 70kHz. If you want to know more transformer information, please let me know. thanks.
