Webench/OPA2380: Adding opamp as source in Webench power tool

Part Number: OPA2380
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Tool/software: Webench

Hello,

I am trying to use the webench power architect tool to design my power management circuit. Within my circuit i need to power an opamp. I would like to know how to add the opamp to include and positive and negative voltage?

Thank you.

  • Hi Victoria,
Sorry for the delay in responding to your question. The WEBENCH Power Architect environment does not support the online schematic editing that you may have seen when creating individual WEBENCH Power Designs. If you wish to see the modeled operation of a system (including regulators and op amps), I suggest creating a Power Design for each regulator, then using "Sim Export" to bring each design into the TINA-TI or PSPICE environment. You may then also add in the op amp and any other IC or component in your overall design.
